Battlestar Galactica: The Lowdown was a special documentary/promotional program that discussed the origins of the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries. A special that deals with the miniseries - its inception, inspiration, and approach. Members of the cast talk about their reaction to the script and the new vision of the series. Comparisons are made with the original series and features Richard Hatch who disagrees with the approach of the new series and Dirk Benedict, the old Starbuck, who talks with the new Starbuck in, of all places, a Starbucks.
